OUR STORY
Founded by Steven Jones & Brendan O’Neill in 1999, Enigma Design grew from humble beginnings in a small local workshop, to become a prestigious cabinetmaking company serving the whole of Ireland.
For over 25 years, our cabinetry business has been dedicated to combining our hand-crafted cabinetmaking skills with contemporary design models.
We offer a complete kitchen and cabinetry service in Dublin and nationwide, from initial concept to final installation, ensuring a smooth and inclusive design experience and stunning results.

From our workshop and showroom in Newtownmountkennedy, every piece we create is designed and built for you with our exacting attention to every aspect of your project. We source the finest materials and pour our expertise into every detail, ensuring every element of your project is perfectly crafted to your vision.
For clients, that means a process that starts by truly listening to their vision. From there, we use advanced design tools to meticulously plan every detail, creating a digital blueprint that clients can see and approve. This ensures a perfect fit and a stress-free journey, bringing the idea to life exactly as it was imagined. The final build is all done by hand, with the care and skill that only a master craftsman can provide.
OUR PROCESS
Through our years of design experience, we’ve created a consultation process that is transparent, inciteful, and fully involves you through all stages of your project. From the initial design sketch and quotation to the final installation, our expertise combined with your vision come together to give you the finish you deserve.
As all our kitchens and cabinetry are bespoke and built specifically to order, where possible we provide preliminary cost estimates to clients in advance of the full design phase of your project. This provides transparency and reassurance before moving into the process.
OPTION 1.
For smaller projects or where clients already have a design brief from an architect or interior designer, we can come up with initial sketched designs and an estimated quotation, which we can send out by email. This usually takes no more than a week.
We can also have initial consultations in our showroom by appointment, to discuss your project. This is helpful if you already have designs or plans from an architect or interior designer.
OPTION 2.
For kitchens and larger cabinetry projects, we can arrange for one of our designers to call out to you. We can then survey the spaces and discuss various aspects of the project and designs ideas directly with the end user. We would then work up initial design sketches and a quotation. This process can take a little longer to complete.
DESIGNS & FINISHES:
Ideas take shape through sketches and careful planning, ensuring every detail reflects your style and space. We work with you to produce full 3D designs for your project, reflecting the details and finishes of your choice. We then meet in our showrooms to discuss the various finishes and materials in more detail.
